Tales of a Desperate Housewife #3

Online shopping.

It really cramps my marriage. H doesn't live by the motto "what's good for the goose, is good for the gander." His motto would be something more like "gander, quit shopping", or "gander, if you want to shop again, get a job."

2 weeks ago, I was browsing my Ballard Design catalog. I heart Ballard Designs, however, they LOVE their merchandise.....I mean, they really think they have the best stuff. While browsing during my morning coffee, I found this garden seat. It made my heart skip a beat.

I wanted it in cream. And Ballard wanted me to pay $139 for it. Tear.

Long story longer, I dragged H to Laurel and asked to run into Big Lots "real quick."
Guess what I found?? Guess what I found for $20?? Guess how many I bought?? I bought all of the cream garden seats. I kept one and will give the others as gifts.

However, I did give Ballard some of my money. $30 to be exact.

I bought a pillow.

H said that it was a waste of money and that we didn't need anymore pillows. I loved it, so I bought it. I told H that it would be the last home item I would purchase this month. He gave his blessing.

This morning there was a knock at the door.

Strange, there's the Fed Ex man??

Huh? I sent my pillow to our PO Box??? Why would Fed Ex be here???

The Fed Ex man left this box:

3balls.com..........a golf shop online.

I then check our bank account online. Huh? What do you know.....the goose spend $110. $110!!! Do you know how many garden seats and monogrammed pillows I can buy???

  3. Can we see a picture of what the goose bought? It will help me try to understand why a pillow costs $30.
