Thoughts for Thursday....

Hello World. It’s cold outside.

1. My feet are freezing. You must know that I am not a sock person. However, I may have to wear my hideous winter fuzzy socks just so I can keep the circulation going.

2. Last night, H had a business dinner. So this means that I reverted to my “old Meg single days.” It’s amazing how quickly I can warp myself into my old routine (that’s 3.5 years old).

6:10- home from work
6:45-finish up bubble bath
7:00- eat a bowl of cereal (however, it was organic with a banana in it vs. my
old Golden Grams)
7:15- catch up on some TiVo
8pm- realize that I am old and tired and need to think about putting the
remote down and going to bed.
8:25- I give in to sleep. I can’t wait up for Prince Charming. He has a key.
He’ll let himself in.
8:26- Meg-o is un-conscious.
10:30- Prince Charming arrives…….and wakes me up to tell me about his business
dinner……and wants me to sprinkle blue cheese on our steaks the next time
we grill out.
10:31- Meg-o wants to send Prince Charming to the couch…….however, I am cold and
needed him as a heater.

3. My mom called me at work today to tell me that I should think about leaving work then due to the ice and sleet. I told her that I would think about it…..then I asked her what she was doing and she told me that she was driving to Hattiesburg to have her hair highlighted (that’s a 45 minute drive on a good day). Priorities. The Walley women have priorities. Come hell, high water, sleet or snow……..by golly….we want our hair to look good.

4. H wants to go shopping on Saturday. He suggested it. I have forgiven him for waking me up to talk about blue cheese.

5. We booked our Valentine’s Day weekend. And I’m pretty pumped about it. We are going to Starkville……..to have our taxes prepared…….and try to hit up as many of our favorite restaurants as we possibly can. This is perfect for us. H gets to talk “money” with our accountant and I get to eat at least 4 times.

  1. That's what I like about going out of town too - I get to eat lots of good food at my favorite places. Sometimes we when go to Memphis for the weekend, we realize when we get home that eat out is all that we did! Have fun in Starkville!
