Let's recap our summer shall we:
-Had a baby via a last minute unplanned section. Stitches.
-Baby boy had pyloric stynosis surgery. Stitches.
-I had a pre-cancerous spot removed from my stomach yesterday. Stitches.
I'm holding my breath waiting for H's turn here.
It's no secret that I'm a wimp when it comes to pain......however, H still brags on me not complaining during labor. I totally attribute it to the drugs I was given. Anyway, pain......it's just not my thing. When the Dr. called and said that I have "a pre-cancerous" spot that he needs to remove ASAP......I broke out in a sweat. When he mentioned stitches I had to wipe the sweat from my forehead.
I. Die.
Quick true side story: I passed out while getting a shot in college.....and I passed out while being awakened from my wisdom teeth surgery .....and I passed out with both of my endo surgeries due to pain.
Are you seeing the 'ol pattern here?
Anyway, I sent my baby daddy a few text messages from the surgical table today. They went like this:
Because H is an engineer that works with machines (or robots)......I bought Jaxon a few robot onesies that we love! That's what H is referring to.
It was going good once back at home......until Jaxon lovingly kicked my stitches. Then, I died again. Thankfully, mom was at the front door and ready to take over. It takes a village.
On another random note......this sweet child of mine. He is a different kid since his surgery! His little cheeks look like he is storing up for the winter and he laughs and talks to me all day long!
Your child is adorable! His expressions are priceless! Hope all is getting well at The Jones'!
